And more with Dawn Casale…

Your greatest achievement:

Balancing work and family.

Your biggest fashion faux pas, or a regrettable style phase:

Everything about the ’80s. Let’s start with parachute pants.

Your most recent culinary discovery and obsession:

Preserved lemons. I’ve had them before but just started making them myself and now want to put them on far more food than I should.

Favorite Instagram account to follow:

Sunday Suppers and Haven’s Kitchen. I love food photos with a bit of human interest thrown in.

Your motto in life:

“Whatever you are, be a good one.” Those are words of wisdom from Abe Lincoln.

Charity/charities you support:

Midnight snack of choice:

Dark chocolate. If I have a choice, from Raaka. If I don’t, I’ll take anything I can get my hands on.

Skincare product you can’t live without:

Shu Uemura face cleansing oil. I’ve been using it for years and am convinced I would have a lot more wrinkles if it weren’t for it.

Your celebrity crush:

Mark Ruffalo. Super cute and smart. What’s not to like?

If you weren’t running One Girl Cookies, you’d be a...

Food photographer or stylist. I cannot imagine I would be doing something that did not involve food.
