What is your most favorite holiday tradition?

My family pulls straws for Christmas stockings. We each get a budget and have to pick small but meaningful gifts for the person we chose. It forces you to get creative!

What is your favorite holiday meal?

Definitely Thanksgiving. I have a giant Italian family and we always eat a full lasagna/meatball course before we even get to look at the turkey.

What do you love most about the holidays?

I usually go home between Christmas and New Years. Spending two weeks with my family with less than the usual amount of responsibility is incredible. I always come back rejuvenated and happy.

Your best holiday gifting/shopping piece of advice:

Don’t buy anything at full price. There are too many amazing sales! Also keep a list year-round of gift ideas for your loved ones (I have a Google Doc) so that you don’t have to scramble last minute.

You’ll be buying most of your holiday presents at:

J.Crew. Always… It’s a mild addiction.

Your current Netflix addiction:

I just got caught up on Homeland. Season 3 might be the best one yet… Although it tends to give me massive anxiety.

Skincare product you can’t live without:

S.W. Basics toner. It keeps my skin fresh and clean with only 5 wholesome ingredients.

Your last great read and why you enjoyed it:

I recently and finally powered through The Goldfinch. It was tough to start but once I got into it, I was hooked. The writing is beautiful and it’s a thrilling story.

The beauty product found in your bag at all times:

Burt’s Bees lip balm. We have an 18-year relationship.

Your favorite restaurant for brunch and your go-to order:

Maison Kayser on the Upper East Side. The saumon fumé tartine and an iced coffee with almond milk.
