What do you love most about your work?
I love the mix of creativity and technology and the chance to exercise all my passions in one place. I can go from a meeting where I review our editorial and upcoming fashion picks, to giving feedback on an expert or video, to talking about how our video player and content needs to get more personalized.
One piece of advice you would give your 18 year old self:
Relax ‘- it will all work out and you will end up where you’re supposed to be. BTW – Im still giving my current self the same advice!
The pair of jeans you will never grow tired of:
Skinny black DL1961s that go with absolutely everything
Your motto in life:
You’ll never know if you don’t try.
The trend you hope never goes out of style:
Platform pumps – I always wear heels so that extra platform helps so much. But I think I’ve already lost that battle based on my own recent purchases…
Charities you support:
Two that I’m passionate about include: Jobtrain – the largest vocational training program here in the bay area that helps troubled adults and youth get back on their feet – and Center for Reproductive Rights – an amazing group of lawyers who every day help protect women’s rights around the globe by taking on state and federal laws that are harmful to our freedoms.
Your (real life) hero:
My father – unquestionably the most amazing human, humanitarian, and leader I’ve ever witnessed
Your current Netflix addiction:
New Season of House of Cards of course. I love that they release all the episodes at once as we are clearly binge-watchers.
Midnight snack of choice:
Phish food from Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream. Still a favorite after all these years and worth getting in the car for.
Your favorite restaurant for brunch and your go-to order:
My favorite restaurant for brunch, lunch or dinner is the Slanted Door in San Francisco. Favorite go-to order is their Grapefruit Jicama Salad – always.
