Your greatest achievement:

My two-year-old son Miles takes the cake.

What do you love most about your work?

Being surrounded by the energy and creativity of our manicurists – it’s infectious, exciting, and extremely gratifying.

One piece of advice you would give your 18 year old self:

Keep working hard, and stay focused on making your dreams a reality.

Skincare product you can’t live without:

SkinCeuticals Sheer Physical UV Defense SPF 50 is a must in my book. After all, you can’t be a beauty editor (past or present) and not preach the importance of SPF year round, no matter the temperature, weather or location. This product has a smooth as silk texture that makes for easy blending, plus it doesn’t mess up my makeup at all.

The beauty product found in your bag at all times:

NARS The Multiple in Copacabana has proven positively life-changing. It’s a cream-to-powder highlighter that I tap onto my cheekbones every day for dewier-looking skin. My skin looks sallow without it. I buy it in bulk to make sure I have one for home, one for the Hamptons, one for Paintbox, one for my purse.

The pair of jeans you will never grow tired of:

Rag & Bone High Rise Skinny Jeans are an absolute closet staple. They’re worth every penny – not one rip even after years of wear, they sit high enough on my waist (no embarrassing lower back shots when I’m bending down and on the floor playing with my son), and they taper perfectly at the ankle.

The trend you hope never goes out of style:

Ankle boots and skinny jeans (aka my daily uniform).

Nail color currently on your hands and feet:

Gelish Arctic Freeze (a bold white) on my fingers in our Cut It Out design, which has a graphic triangle of negative space at the base and Deborah Lippmann Just Walk Away Renee (a dark cherry) on my toes.
