And more with Gabi Gregg…

Your greatest achievement:

Creating a successful swimwear line. There’s no better feeling than seeing designs I sketched on my couch end up on thousands of girls around the world.

What do you love most about your work?

The ability to be creative on my own terms, I love not having a boss! And the fact that I’ve found an authentic way to pursue a career in fashion where I actually feel like I’m helping women improve their self-esteem.

One piece of advice you would give your 18 year old self:

Stop dieting.

Your most recent culinary discovery and obsession:

I just went to Bar Pintxo in Santa Monica, everything was delicious. The best tapas I’ve had in LA.

Your dream dinner party guest:

Drew Barrymore—I think she’s such a smart, amazing woman and I’ve always wanted to be her friend!

Where does your credit card get the most use (feel free to name a store, activity, restaurant, online store, etc)? I’m terrible. I get a box from ASOS almost weekly!

On Sunday, we’ll find you wearing:

An oversized tee with leggings and sneakers, because I usually spend Sundays lounging.

Your favorite restaurant for brunch and your go-to order:

Nothing beats brunch from Coney Island in Detroit (where I’m from). I always get scrambled eggs with bacon and grits.

Your celebrity crush?

Samira Wiley from Orange is the New Black. She just has this aura. And that smile!

The skill or sport you’re dying to learn:

Kickboxing! It’s been on my to-do list forever.
