Editor-in-Chief, Modern Farmer

Sarah Gray Miller is the editor-in-chief of Modern Farmer. Modern Farmer is the authoritative resource for today’s cutting-edge food producers and consumers: the farmers, wannabe farmers, chefs, and passionate home cooks who are influencing the way we eat right now. Sarah Gray currently lives in Athens, New York with her rescue dog, Mr. Chips. Check out Modern Farmer on Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr for more information!

Your longest lasting friendship?

I’ve known my best friend, Jane Chase Wells, since I was two years old.

Your motto in life:

Life’s too short. In other words, just go ahead and eat the carbs, drink the whiskey, and kiss the boy. Don’t let self-consciousness keep you from the dance floor or the karaoke mix.

A secret talent we should know about:

I can sing the names of every U.S. president, in chronological order, to the tune of Yankee Doodle Dandy. Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Adams, Jackson...

Which of the seven deadly sins are you guilty of:

Your last takeout order:

A cheeseburger, fries, and carrot cake from Crossroads Brewery in Athens, New York.
