Talking Top Tens: Jamie Chandlee

CEO, Rank & Style

Jamie is excited to be the new CEO of Rank & Style and is thrilled to continue the mission of "ranking the world" while providing value to the site’s users. Texas born and raised but now splitting her time between Austin and New York, Jamie is an online shopping addict and a total beauty junkie. As a mother of two and an avid traveler, she is always on the go with less time to search for the very best items in fashion and beauty. She loves that Rank & Style simplifies the shopping experience through unbiased top tens. Jamie was most recently at Facebook where she helped lead the company’s efforts within the fashion and retail segments. She is thrilled to get to know the many loyal Rank & Style users.  Feel free to drop Jamie a line at with any suggestions or feedback.

And more with Jamie Chandlee…

What is your greatest accomplishment?

Beating cancer! I was diagnosed with stage IV Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2009 and am now proud to say I am officially cured!

What’s your motto in life?

Don’t sweat the small stuff. I know it sounds cliché but the more I experience, the more I understand how much can be gained living by these words.

One piece of advice you would give your 18 year old self:

Learn to write code, learn to write code, and learn to write code. Also, always wear your suncreen.

Your favorite vacation:

The Amalfi Coast with my husband, Blake, or Paris with my girlfriends. It’s tough to find the time but I believe it is important to take a breather every so often.

Where does your credit card get the most use?

Net-A-Porter, Amazon Prime, and Favor (an Austin-based meal delivery app). Gotta love clothes, diapers, and food -- just not all at once.

Your last takeout order:

Red Farm! It is my go-to takeout spot for soup dumplings and noodles in Manhattan.

The beauty product found in your bag at all times:

I’m never without NARS Raquel Lipstick. It’s the perfect peachy pink shade, goes on like silk, and doesn’t disappear after my morning coffee or lunch.

Your go-to power outfit:

All black everything and my Valentino rock-stud slingbacks

The skill you are dying to learn:

I would love to speak fluent French. It’s never come easy to me but maybe one day!

Cocktail of choice:

You can never go wrong with a dry rosè champagne. It’s as pretty as it is tasty.
