And more with Gemma Burgess…

Favorite Instagram account to follow:

@pandorasykes—consummate London fashion girl, @laretraite_fr is my friend’s account tracking the renovation of her chateau into a tiny boutique hotel, and it makes me long to visit her immediately, @womensmarch because, obviously.

Your biggest fashion faux pas, or a regrettable purchase/style phase:

Five-inch Louboutin hooker heels in 2009. What were we all thinking?

Your current Netflix addiction:

Brothers & Sisters, Parenthood, The West Wing, The Office and Felicity. (Comfort food!) Also love Nobodies, Crashing, Detroiters, Catastrophe, Fleabag, and Riverdale. I like smart-ass comedies and smart relationship dramas, and so inevitably, my writing is a combination of those two genres. If Sharon Horgan and Ron Howard had a baby, I would be that baby.

What do you love most about your work:

Everything. I love to write.

Midnight snack of choice:

Nutella on Finn’s crackers or Fage full-fat yogurt with maple syrup.

Skincare product you can’t live without:

Just ONE!? … La Roche Posay SPF50. So boring.

Go-to workout song on your most recent playlist:

Sleigh Bells ‘I Can’t Stand You Anymore’.

At 9am each day, you are:

Either at Tonehouse, or at my desk.

You decompress each day by:

Talking to my husband. I really like him.

Nail color currently on your hands and feet:

Neon pink on my feet, nothing on my hands. (Too distracting for writing.)
