And more with Ramy Brook…

What do you love most about your work:

It’s exciting to learn new facets of the industry as it changes and shifts. One of my favorite parts of my day-to-day is checking out the design prototypes as they come in—to see an idea born from a sketch into an actual garment is a very rewarding process.

One piece of advice you would give your 18-year-old self:

It will all work out, one way or another.

Your go-to power outfit:

Black pants and a silky, sexy top. We have so many great pants at Ramy Brook; our Allyn, Iris and Lincoln styles are absolute musts.

Your motto in life:

I apply this motto to all aspects of my life but it was especially relevant when I started my business. Plow through walls, trust your gut, and don’t listen to those that say that you can’t.

What is something that recently moved you:

The incredible way that the everyone rallied to help those in need in the wake of Hurricane Harvey and Irma.

What is the best gift you’ve ever received:

My kids.

At 9am each day, you are:

I love to work out and often take classes with my friends so that it is both social and productive. My two favorites are SoulCycle or Barry’s Bootcamp, though recently I have become obsessed with Tracy Anderson.

Your favorite restaurant for brunch and your go-to order:

There is a great diner on the Upper East Side, Gracie Mews. I love their Greek Salad with chicken, though everything is delicious.

Your longest lasting friendship:

My sisters, who were my built-in best friends since birth. We are all still very, very close.

What’s a trend you predict will catch on this year:

Low cut tops that you can wear sans bra. We have a bit of a 70s vibe at Ramy Brook so we are all about letting it hang loose.
