And more with Wendi Koletar Martin…

My biggest fashion faux pas or regrettable purchase/style phase:

I distinctively remember a very large, puffy sleeve with black and white polka dots and a large bow over my chest for one of my high school dances. An image of me wearing that dress pops up on my husband’s phone when I call, so I can’t forget the details... I should mention that the puff on the sleeves are about as big as a balloon.

What do I love most about my work:

I appreciate that I get to spend my professional time doing what I have loved since I was a kid. I get to work in fashion and travel to markets in cities that I love: New York, Paris, and Milan. Also, I love my staff. We work hard but have fun every day.

One piece of advice:

Trust your instincts and love yourself.

Skincare product I can’t live without:

Skinceuticals tinted sunscreen. It’s the foundation of my make up everyday.

My go-to power outfit:

A blazer, trousers, and a button down. Probably with oxfords or Martiniano flats

Your favorite restaurant for brunch and your go-to order:

My favorite restaurant for brunch is currently at The South Congress Hotel, which is near my house: avocado toast with a poached egg and a salad. I get a side of bacon to go with it.

A trend that will catch on this year:

Color and femininity.

Something I never see going out of style:

Good trousers and a button down.

Something that recently moved me:

The women’s march on January 21!

What’s the most exciting thing in your life right now:

The most exciting thing in my life right now is my business, it’s growth, and what it’s becoming. I’m really proud and I’m working hard to make it great.
