What do you love most about your work?
I work with really, really smart people—the team of writers at The Daily Muse is comprised of everyone from inspirational career coaches to some of the world’s most powerful women, like former Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief Kate White and former Hearst and USA Today president Cathie Black. I learn from them every day.

Your most recent culinary discovery and obsession:
Blue Apron is basically a game-changer in my life. I love to cook, but rarely can find the time to plan menus and go to the grocery store—Blue Apron does both for me, so I get to just cook and enjoy!
Your dream dinner party guest:
Diane von Furstenberg. I’ve met her and heard her speak several times about her life, her business, and the women’s initiatives she supports, and she’s truly one of the most fascinating people on the planet.
Skincare product you can’t live without:
Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint has replaced foundation in my makeup bag—it’s super light, provides just enough coverage, and truly makes your skin glow.
Your motto in life:
My father used to say that my grandparents “lived every day like it was New Year’s Eve”—they really made sure to live well, eat good food, and truly enjoy every single day. They were European, so it came a little easier to them than it does to me, but it’s definitely something I strive for.
Your go-to power outfit:
I keep it simple—a solid-colored, perfectly tailored dress with a statement necklace. I have the pleated pocket dress from 25 Bedford in black and poppy, and it’s absolutely the best.
The trend you hope never goes out of style:
It’s my mission in life to make sure Birkenstocks never go out of style again—I had a pair in college, and I’m so, so happy they’re back now. They’re so comfortable!
Your last takeout order:
I’m obsessed with the pho ga from Co Ba in Chelsea. It’s light and fresh, super flavorful, and delicious enough to eat even on a hot day.
Cocktail of choice:
A well-made Manhattan, especially if it has some sort of fun twist. My current favorite is the Fitted Manhattan from Bo’s Kitchen + Bar Room in the Flatiron—it’s made with yellow chartreuse and allspice liquor, and it’s amazing.
