<p>My family pulls straws for Christmas stockings. We each get a budget and have to pick small but meaningful gifts for the person we chose. It forces you to get creative!</p>

What is your most favorite holiday tradition?

<p>Definitely Thanksgiving. I have a giant Italian family and we always eat a full lasagna/meatball course before we even get to look at the turkey.&nbsp;</p>

What is your favorite holiday meal?

<p>I usually go home between Christmas and New Years. Spending two weeks with my family with less than the usual amount of responsibility is incredible. I always come back rejuvenated and happy.</p>

What do you love most about the holidays?

<p>Don’t buy anything at full price. There are too many amazing sales! Also keep a list year-round of gift ideas for your loved ones (I have a Google Doc) so that you don’t have to scramble last minute.&nbsp;</p>

Your best holiday gifting/shopping piece of advice:

It was tough to start but once I got into it, I was hooked. The writing is beautiful and it’s a thrilling story.&nbsp;</p>
