R&S

What do you love most about your work?

Katrina

All of the human-ness. I love that every Fix that we ship out is a story, curated by a stylist who is being thoughtful about a client, and that items from our Fixes get woven into our clients' lives and families and homes. Our whole business is one Fix, one client, one woman at a time, and it’s extremely rewarding.

R&S

On Sunday, we’ll find you wearing:

Katrina

Distressed jeans, a grey t-shirt in a great fabric (I love the Sam t-shirt from Market & Spruce), a pendant necklace (I love Gorjana’s long necklaces), and a Weekend Journal.

R&S

Your current Netflix addiction:

Katrina

Breaking Bad. I’m a little late to the party – don’t tell me what happens!

R&S

Your biggest fashion faux pas, or a regrettable style phase:

Katrina

I was really into the sheer cardigan look inspired by Cher Horowitz from Clueless in the ’90s. Possibly layered with a cropped sweater vest. Yikes.

The beauty product found in your bag at all times:

Katrina

They're Real Mascara from Benefit.

Your go-to power outfit:

Katrina

Black pointy pumps, ankle length pants (I love my Emer pants from Margaret M) and a structured short sleeve top.

R&S

You decompress each day by:

Katrina

Running at least a couple of miles every day, and doing long runs whenever I can find time on the weekends. San Francisco has challenging but beautiful terrain.

R&S

Cocktail of choice:

Katrina

The bootleg: a minty, lemony, swampy-looking drink that is famous in Minnesota, where I went to high school and where my parents live today. Mint in your teeth is part of the drink’s charm.

R&S

Favorite pizza topping:

Katrina

Almost anything! I like my pizza brimming with toppings, and I’m not very picky.

R&S

Charity/charities you support:

Katrina

I have been a mentor for BUILD, a program that teaches and inspires high school students in lower income communities through entrepreneurship. It’s an amazing organization that has transformed the lives of many, including some of the mentees I was lucky enough to work with and am still in touch with.
