Sign up for DSW text alerts and you'll get a coupon code for 15% off your first purchase. To sign up, go to DSW.com and wait a few seconds for the signup popup to appear. Enter your mobile number, tap "Get the 15% Off Code," and your code will arrive by text almost immediately. If the popup doesn't show, try opening the site in a private or incognito window since it usually only appears for new or signed-out visitors.

Just note that the code doesn't work on every brand. Nike, UGG, Birkenstock, Brooks, Converse and Frye are fully excluded, along with select styles from adidas, New Balance, Dr. Martens, and Steve Madden.

Even with those exclusions, signing up is still worth it, and it gets you more than just the 15% discount. You'll also get occasional texts about new arrivals, cart reminders and other promotions, which makes it easier to catch sales as they happen. If you'd rather not receive them, you can text STOP at any time to unsubscribe.

You can get a DSW coupon code for 10% off your first order when you sign up for DSW emails. Your code will be sent straight to your inbox, so you can start shopping (and saving!) right away.

Whether you're hunting for cozy boots or picking up some sleek sneakers, now's the time. You can even grab a chic bag or a stylish hat to complete your look. Just use your DSW code at checkout, and step into the new season with style.

And by signing up for emails, you'll also get first dibs on new arrivals, exclusive sales, and special offers from brands like UGG, Birkenstock, and Nike.

Join the DSW VIP loyalty program and you'll get a 20% off coupon after your first purchase. The unique code is sent to your email within four days of your first order and is valid for 75 days, so you'll have plenty of time to use it on your next purchase.

And that welcome offer is just the start. The more you shop, the more perks you'll unlock through DSW VIP's three membership tiers: Club, Gold, and Elite. Everyone starts at Club when they sign up, and you'll automatically move up to Gold or Elite once your spending in a calendar year reaches each tier's threshold.

Here's a breakdown of what you get at each level.

VIP Club (Free to Join)

Club is the starting tier and costs nothing to sign up for. It's a low-commitment way to start earning rewards, and you'll get these perks right away:

• Earn 1 point for every $1 you spend.
• Get a $5 reward every time you reach 100 points.
• Free standard shipping on every order, with no minimum purchase.
• A $5 bonus reward during your birthday month.
• Earn 50 points each time you donate new or gently used shoes at a DSW store.
• Early access to sales, exclusive events, and special promotions.

VIP Gold (Spend $200 to $499 a Year)

You'll automatically move up to Gold once you spend $200 in a calendar year. You'll keep every Club perk and also unlock:

• Two 2X points days a year that you choose, so you can save them for bigger purchases.
• A $5 reward for every $50 spent on those 2X days, so your rewards add up twice as fast.

VIP Elite (Spend $500 or More a Year)

Spend $500 in a calendar year and you'll reach Elite, the top tier of the program. You'll keep every Club and Gold perk and unlock the biggest rewards:

• Earn 2 points for every $1 you spend year-round, so points add up twice as fast on every order.
• Free two-day shipping on every order, upgraded from standard.
• A $10 birthday reward, double what Club and Gold members get.
• One 3X points day a year where every dollar earns triple points, with a $5 reward for every $25 spent.

If you're looking for discounts on shoes and accessories, these DSW sale events are the ones to watch out for. Here’s a rundown of the top DSW sales of the year.

DSW Friends and Family Event

The DSW Friends and Family Event is one of the retailer's biggest sales of the year, and it only happens twice annually, typically in May and October. VIP Gold and Elite members get early access, with everyone else able to shop shortly after. The sale typically runs for about five days.

During the sale, you can get 25% off your purchase by entering a promo code at checkout. Check back here for the code once the sale goes live.

DSW Semi-Annual Sale

Take up to 50% off clearance items from top brands like Nike, UGG, adidas, and New Balance at the DSW Semi-Annual Sale. The sale takes place twice a year: one event wraps up in early January, and the other typically launches in late June or early July.

DSW Black Friday and Cyber Monday

DSW’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales are always worth checking out. In the past, Black Friday has offered 30% off all shoes, both in-store and online. If you miss the in-store deals, Cyber Monday usually gives you 35% off online. While Black Friday deals are available in stores and online, Cyber Monday is mostly for online shopping with some extra digital discounts. Either way, it's a great chance to grab top brands at a serious discount.

Get free standard shipping on orders of $75 or more. If you want free shipping on any order, join the DSW VIP Rewards Program. You can also keep an eye out for the occasional DSW free shipping coupon to help you save on smaller purchases.

Need your shoes today? You can use the third-party service Getcho for DSW same-day delivery. Just place your order online and choose the “Store Pick Up - Free Option.” Be sure to add “courier driver” in your contact details when you check out.

Next, open the Getcho app and enter your pickup and drop-off info, including the DSW store address, your name and phone number. You can also add any special instructions to help the driver find you.

Once your order’s ready at DSW (usually in about two hours), a Getcho driver will pick it up. You can even track their progress in the Getcho app for real-time updates.

Our Rank & Style coupon team sourced every code and deal on this page. Here's how we find the best ones.

• Our partnerships team keeps in close contact with DSW for updates on new sales and promotions, and our deal hunters track their site, newsletters, and social channels daily so we catch new codes and deals the moment they drop.
• Caio Rios, our deal expert, hand-selects each code and deal on this page. He focuses on the biggest savings in the categories DSW shoppers care about most, including sneakers, dress shoes, and clearance finds.
• Before we publish, we test each code at checkout ourselves and check every deal is live as advertised. We keep this page updated as new offers come in and old ones expire.
• As an editor at Rank & Style, I spend my time researching how brands like DSW run their sales and promotions. I use that knowledge to add context to this page, from breaking down the VIP rewards tiers to flagging the best sales events of the year, so you always know when to shop and how to save the most.

The coupon I keep coming back to on this page is the VIP welcome offer. It costs nothing to join, and once you make your first purchase, DSW emails you a code for 20% off plus free shipping with no minimum. Unlike a flash sale, it's not going anywhere and it's not full of exclusions — it's just a code that shows up and works. If you're a regular DSW shopper, sign up before your next order so you don't miss it.
