Is It Worth Opening?

It depends on how much you shop at LOFT and whether you carry a credit card balance.

If you shop at LOFT regularly and pay your card off in full each month, the math works in your favor. The 20% welcome discount alone can save you $30 to $50 on a typical order, and the ongoing perks add up over the year.

But if you tend to carry a balance, skip it. Both cards charge a 35.99% APR (as of May 2026), which is high even for a store card. The interest you'd pay would quickly cancel out anything you save with the discounts.

LOFT runs frequent promos right at the top of its homepage, and the offer changes constantly. One day it might be 20% off your entire purchase, the next it could be 40% off sale styles or 50% off a specific category like The Linen Shop. The promo is typically applied automatically at checkout, so you usually don't need a code.

Because the deal varies so much, it pays to check the banner anytime you're about to shop. You might catch a discount that lines up perfectly with what you were planning to buy.

LOFT's sale section is where the deepest discounts live, with over 5,000 items marked down at any given time. Sale prices typically run 25% to 40% off the original price, but you'll find some items for up to 60% off. Some of my favorites right now are a floral lace top for $59.99 (originally $79.95), a lace overlay midi skirt for $69.99 (originally $89.95), and linen cotton wide leg pants for $59.99 (originally $94.95).

The real value comes when one of those rotating banner promos applies to sale styles. For example, an extra 20% off sale promo would knock the already reduced lace top down from $59.99 to around $48 at checkout. These stackable sale promos run often, so it's worth checking the site regularly or signing up for emails so you know when one is happening.

Standard shipping is free on LOFT orders of $99 or more, and orders typically arrive in four to seven business days. If your total comes in below $99, you'll pay a flat $8.95 shipping fee instead. Need it faster? Three-day shipping is $16.95 and next-day is $24.95.

If you're a few dollars short of qualifying for free shipping, it might be worth adding a small accessory to push your total over $99. A pack of no-show socks runs $12.95, which is more than the $8.95 shipping fee, but you'll come away with something useful instead of just paying for delivery.
