Ulta Beauty Coupons for April 2026

Before you start shopping, log in to your Ulta Beauty Rewards account, or create one if you don't have one yet. It only takes a minute, and it makes the whole process smoother and helps you get more out of your purchase (more on that in a minute).

Once you're logged in, here's how to apply your code:

1. Add all your Ulta Beauty favorites to your cart—think skincare from The Ordinary, makeup from Tarte, or haircare from Olaplex.
2. Click the shopping bag icon in the top right corner to view your cart.
3. Under the order summary, click the plus sign next to where it says "Add a coupon."
4. In the box that drops down, paste your coupon code and click the “Apply” button.
5. Make sure the discount appears under your order summary and that the estimated total has adjusted to the new price.
6. Then, click the black "Checkout" button to complete your order.

One thing to know: Ulta only lets you apply one coupon code per order at checkout, so if you've collected a few, make sure you choose the one that saves you the most before you check out.

Why You Should Log In Before You Apply Your Coupon and Check Out

You can check out as a guest, but you'll get a lot more out of your coupon if you're logged in. Here's why.

• You’ll earn points for every dollar you spend. As a member, you'll earn 1 to 1.5 points per dollar spent, and you can redeem those points for discounts on future purchases. If you check out as a guest, you're not tracking that spend, so you lose out on the points that come with it.
• You can stack rewards discounts with coupons. If you've earned rewards points, you can redeem them for a discount and apply that on top of a coupon. Ulta only allows one coupon code per order, but your rewards discounts count separately, so you actually get two ways to save on the same order.
• Free shipping kicks in sooner. When you check out as a guest, you'll need to spend $50 to qualify for free standard shipping. If you're logged in as a member and you’ve reached Diamond status (which requires spending $1,200 a year), you'll get free shipping when you spend $25.

Sign up for Ulta’s text alerts, and they’ll send you a one-time code for 10% off your purchase. Just a heads up that it doesn't work on salon services, ear piercing, skin bar treatments, or Benefit Brow Bar appointments. It also excludes Chanel, Dyson, those five-for-$5 deals, Beauty Steals, and clearance items. But there's still so much you can use it on, so it's definitely worth signing up.

Beyond signing up for texts, there are a few other ways to score a discount. These are the main ones to know about right now.

• 20% off with the Ulta Beauty Rewards™ Credit Card: When you apply and get approved for the Ulta Beauty Rewards credit card, you’ll get 20% off your first purchase. Just remember that it is a real credit card application, so it will require a hard credit check.
• 5% off with Replenish & Save: For the products that you use every day, you can sign up for auto-shipments and get 5% off every recurring order. Another great part about signing up is that you'll always get free shipping on these orders, no matter how much you spend.
• Free shipping over $35: Standard shipping is free as long as you spend at least $35. Once you reach this minimum spend amount, you'll automatically get the discount at checkout, so you don't even need a code. And if your total is under that amount, standard shipping has a flat fee of $6.95. It typically takes one to three business days to be delivered once it leaves the warehouse, but if you need it sooner, there are faster options for an extra fee.

Ulta's Today's Deals change constantly, but you can always expect to find deals worth up to 50% off. Some are gone within a day, while others last for around a week or two. Lately, I've seen deals for everything from 20% off Touchland hand sanitizers and body mists to $100 off select Shark Beauty hair tools. Sometimes, there are also gift-with-purchase offers. Like recently, you could pick two free minis from a selection that included options from e.l.f., NYX, Lancôme, Jane Iredale, Peach & Lily, and Rare Beauty when you spent $65.

Students 16 and up can qualify for Ulta Student Perks. To get the perks, you’ll need to join the Ulta Beauty Rewards and then verify your student status through SheerID. You’ll typically get a 10% discount code sent to your email when you sign up, and once you’re enrolled, you’ll continue to receive Student Perks throughout the year.

• Sign up for texts to get a code for 10% off your first purchase.
• Open a Rewards Credit Card to get 20% off your first purchase once you're approved.
• Shop the sale section for up to 75% off select items throughout the year.
• Check for free gift offers. These are often found in the Today's Deals section, and they typically require a minimum spend of $50 or $65.
