Julian Lloyd Jones, CEO of Casual Fitters, explains: "Lower linen percentages, such as around 30%, will read more like the other fiber and lose much of linen's characteristic texture, while higher percentages around 55% retain the linen feel but with fewer of its downsides."

So if the linen look is the point, go for a blend that's at least half linen. This is also a good move if you're new to linen or just don't love ironing.

Linen is a natural and breathable fabric so it’s great for moving around in and will stay fresher than a synthetic pair of pants.
